Oz entered the cafe, brushing off the snow, and headed toward the counter. He ordered a sandwich and a coffee, then turned around to scan the cafe for a place to sit.

"It's not that... it's..." he sighed through his nose, "I'm dangerous."

Draco raised a brow, and he set down his pen. "What sort of dangerous are we talking about here, Oz?"

Oz didn't like to just tell random people what he was. But, he figured Draco could handle it.

"I'm a werewolf."

There, he said it.

"And?" Draco replied, not moved. "I married a werewolf, a temperamental one at that. Well, technically I was married. What sort of werewolf? Change with the moon, shape-shifter?"

[just_oz]

He rose an eyebrow, "Moon. But... I've been able to stop the change. Only, now I change whenever I experience extreme pain or emotion..."

"Wow, really? That's impressive," he said, making a note on the paper. "What if you become really happy or excited? That's extreme emotion; that could get awkward."

It was a bit funny, but Draco was being very serious.

"Negative emotions." that got a smirk out of him.

"Ah, this could work out nicely," Draco said, grinning. "Normally, I wouldn't tell a potential this, but since you told me an interesting detail about you, I'll reciprocate. Meg has a stalker. Police are keeping an eye on the guy, and Meg sort of has her own protection posse going on, but there is the possibility he could show up while you two are out. That is, if you want to go out with her."

"Do they think he might do something to her?" he asked, worried for this girl he hadn't even met yet.

"And I don't see why not. I'd be willing to go on a date with her. Unless you find someone better of course."

[black_nimbus01]

"Not sure yet. He's mostly just creepy at this point," Draco said. "I'm setting up several dates for her, actually. Make a good impression, and maybe she'll choose you for a second."

"A competition?" Oz asked, "Well, I'll do my best."

"I hope so," he said with a smile. "I've got high hopes for you."

"No pressure or anything."

Draco laughed. "Sorry, that's not my intention. If it goes pear-shaped, I'll buy you a drink."

"Okay, thanks." Oz smirked, "Then it'll be a win-win, either way."
