He's a genius! Then again.. I am biased.

I just told mostly-asleep him the news. I've never seen him jump out of bed half-asleep so fast in his entire life!

He's brushing his teeth and finding his shoes and he'll be over to assist.

I thought he'd move fast. There's really nothing to assist with. We can't help the chicks because they need to hatch on their own.

And if the chicks know who he is from the start, they won't poke at him. His words, not mine.
