I was considering setting up a new comm on dreamwidth myself.

Probably for the best. If it happens, send me the link and I'll post it all official-like.

see, even if no one really wants to move, at least it's there if needed just in case.

Well, damn. I was just starting to feel at home here.

That said, I did say a while back that I was planning on hosting my sporks on my own personal journal. That way, I can actually keep the weekly schedule that I've been meaning to set up for quite some time.
If we do get a new community, someone let me know. I'll make sure to check up on it, comment, and generally stay a part of the Sporking Community at large. However, as for myself, I think I'll just pull a Lynx/Tegu and set up my own little peice of snarking paradise. I might even move to a different site, since I agree that LJ is slowly becoming more and more terrible.

I know I'm three months late to the comment, but if you do post them to your own LJ, at least crosspost them here so those of us who have enough going on can keep up. It's easier to check one site then it is multiple journals.

Why not just have posts automatically approved if you don't want to deal with it anymore? Are the guro posts still a problem?

The guro posts were from the old kingdom_spork comm, which was unmoderated. This comm gets about one bad post for every fifteen good posts, so it's not that awful. Additionally, not being a maintainer, I don't know if I can change the moderated post settings. Let me check that.

Holy shit I have no idea what happened, but suddenly I am able to do all the things??? Maybe cool_rain_kiss had more power than I thought...

SO WHO WANTS TO MOD THIS COMMUNITY??? Even though we've got the Dreamwidth one all set up too.

If it's possible, I could toss in a hand there too if you'd like.
Since I'm still modding a few comms on LJ.

Awww, I liked this comm... oh, well, I do have a DW account. Somewhere. If modding is needed to be helped with, I can?

I'm confused now. If you're asking who would like to be a mod for the Live Journal version of heartless_fics, then do we still need to direct all of our future activity to the Dreamwidth version of heartless_fics? Or is it now going to serve as a backup or something?

I guess it depends on which one takes off? Once I hand off the comm to clockworkpussy and plotmaster, I don't intend to have a hand in anything anymore. I'm so out of the KH fandom that I've looped right around back into it. So it's gonna be up to you guys to decide which comm lives and which dies, I guess.

honestly this largely depends on how well people can tolerate LJs current bullshit.
People don't really have to move if they don't want to, but a shit tonne of people are packing their shit and moving to dreamwidth because lj is run by arseholes and this bullshit going on with LJ is intended to get worse.

It's entirely up to you where you choose to post.

I'm intending on straddling the two sites because not everyone wants to go, and by maintaining mirrors the kh fandom's activity doesn't completely fall of the map as people in it are spread between the two sites.
