sanktuaryo

Eversince the start of last schoolyear's second semester, the CW 198 Online Writing students of Sir Paolo Manalo have been haunted by the surreal presence of the gamemaster's Sanctuario/Sanktuaryo. Forget hyperreality, this time it's real. (Well, the one you're going to see right after the text is just a bland reproduction but still...)

The best part was learning how to play Falling. (Wuh si Sir pauso talaga. I want a George Michael deck!)

Specialty Falling Cards:

Grab = George Michael
Split = Mystika
Push = WoWoWee stage + contestants
Hit = Pacquiao!
Extra = Ethel Booba
Stop = Dancing policeman with the biggest beer belly ever

Too much can't be captured by the camera-the whooping sound of the janitor fish waiting for its prey (me?), the Zsa Zsa Zaturnnah/Yoyoy Villame shoulder-moving music, Arianne and Vim's shoulder moves, and the food-mainly because we were too busy eating instead of taking snapshots of the poppy seed-covered cheese (which I initially thought to be sampaloc on toothpicks), the laing quesadilla (Oo, laing!), the coffee float (hmmmm), the blueberry panna cotta...

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Sanktuaryo's everything we've imagined it to be...and more! Kudos to Sir Paolo for introducing us to Jolina's favorite coffee place. Panalo!

:P

This one is for Sheng.
