Heather died. We still have Harriet. I don't want to get a rep as The Crazy Lady That Always Posts About Her Cat Problems so "that's all I have to say about that."
As usual, dh has a sensible angle on it all. He says that while the situation is extremely sad, at least now we can be pretty certain that Peppermint Patty's sudden death was not our fault. They most likely both had a defect from birth or a virus from the farm. Now we just watch, wait, and pray for Harriet.
