I don't mean to be all moany and pretentious etc, but please don't use the word athame for a knife used to kill someone. It was never intended as a sacrificial weapon, more a ceremonial knife...

i just have a bit of a thing for the word 'athame' so it tends to get included in my writing alot, regardless of whether it actually should be... *shrugs*
