Winter has been so freaking picky here this year! We had a couple thirty degree nights in early December, and maybe one or two nights where it dropped below thirty, but that was the worst. It's entirely too warm here. The south sucks. I'm totally jealous of your snow. The grass is always greener, I guess.

And dude, I am jealous of myself. Keep an eye out--- I'm going to be keeping a blog while I'm there so everyone can live vicariously...

KADES. I SO WANTED TO CALL YOU TODAY AND ASK ABOUT FRANCE.

idk, I just was thinking about you today, and then I realized that i never heard the verdict. I'm glad to hear that you got in!

and also about your fabulous repairs, I bet that is all a relief!

Oops! Sorry! I should have told you. In a perfect world, I would have mass texted everyone the second I found out, but I was actually at work when the news dropped. The story is kind of typically Kades-type epic though. Lillian has internet on her phone, happened to see a facebook status update of someone she knew that said they got into Lacoste, so I had her go to my SCAD e-Mail to check if I'd been accepted. Her phone wouldn't allow her onto the server, so then I made her call Emily, who then located the nearest computer, logged in, and check for me. All of this occurred while I was behind a register selling books to a line of fifteen people, and all of those customers were very shiftily watching me in a very "what the hell is going on here?" sort of way.

Hahaha, too funny! I can't even imagine having to watch you go through all that - I don't blame those customers!

Congratulations, though! It's going to be amazing!

I definitely want company! I think there will probably be enough room in my second suitcase to fit you in, if you'd like. ;)
