Sorry for being cynical...

But I greatly dislike it when I contradict my values or the character I strive to be. A huge inner conflict takes place and I keep questioning myself. I wish to not only act the person I strive to become, but to truly feel/think it.

We're still maturing, growing, learning, etc. So along that journey, we end up contradicting our own selves, thinking we'd surely know how we'd act/react to something when we end up doing something we did not expect at all. As long as you know what you truly want, you can achieve it if you try hard enough.

Good point. I guess it wouldn't be worth it if we didn't fall, right?

"Fake it till you make it" is not a negative statement. It creates space for a new reality.

BUT we are only human and cannot expect to stay on track at all times. Conditioning and habit will be a strong factor in the start of any journey of value. If there were no obstacles, the triumph would not be as meaningful. Your awareness is beautiful. Remind yourself that being aware of surroundings and goals is beautiful and with perserverance the beauty of it all will only increase.
