See, the problem I have with college is that I want to take (almost) every class possible to boost my learning. I want to learn as much as possible. I hate how I used to focus on grades so much. As years pasted, I realized that the more I focused on getting a good grade out of a class, the worse grade I achieved. And the more I cared about learning ( Read more... )

I'm proud of you, too. It's definitely admirable that you've gained such knowledge about your education. That's what I love about education, though, is just the knowledge one can gain from taking a variety of courses. I'm very glad that you're able to care so much about your education while others are just careless and take it for granted.

These days, I'm caring less about grades, but I still have to care in case I do get accepted into UW and I don't wanna get kicked out last minute, haha.

Your words are wise. Coming to a poignant realization is one thing. Incorporating it into our list of reactions is yet another. I smile thinking of how this will all make an enlightening aspect to your days.
My Marcia went to college for the sake of learning...not for degrees or career advancement. She has some 280 college credits in a wide variety of arenas. She has a bachelors degree in accounting and that is her livelihood. Because of her search of knowledge, she is one of the most fascinating people to converse with.
