Anima/animus

Something I'd like to accomplish sometime is to learn more about the anima/animus theory in which Jung believed the animus is the inner masculinity presented in a woman's unconscious and the anima is the feminine part of a man's unconscious. We are attracted to our animas/animuses and project our animas/animuses upon those we "love"/lust. Thus, why ( Read more... )

dude, this anima/animus thing sounds super interesting. maybe i'll end up doing a little research just 'cause it sounds so intriguing, haha. psychology's so fascinating.

Yes, I am really very interested in this concept. I am currently reading "The Portable Jung" and I want to get a book that deals with the anima/ahimus concept in more depth. His wife wrote one such book and I intend to get it and read it this year.

Clicking on INFJ in my own profile and finding "The Idealist" group and looking at profiles of people there. Your username appealed to me so I checked it out and first post was a bout Jung and the anima/animus, a deep interest of mine. Just looking for people with common interests.
