Here's a less obscure one.
Wishbone.
Any of you watch that?
I always loved the cheesy acting and the costumes they put on the dog.

I watched this show a lot with my brother. I even read a few Wishbone books. :P The books were really cool because they had a little picture of Wishbone in the corner of each page and when you flipped the pages quickly it made a little animation!

I still sometimes think of the Wishbone version when someone mentions one of the classic stories. (when I haven't read the real one or seen another movie version or something)

I absolutely LOVED Wishbone, like, a crazy amount. I still own a ton of the books--I remember The Prince and the Pauper, Ivanhoe, Journey to the Center of the Earth, Tom Sawyer, The Red Badge of Courage, Sleepy Hollow, and Frankenstein specifically. I have Joan of Arc, too, but I never finished it because the ending scared me as a little kid. I used to get really freaked out by the Rip van Winkle episode...
