Sorry for the many posts...

Labyrinth, a film with David Bowie as Jareth the goblin king who steals a young girl's brother. She then has to enter his world to save him.

I love this, mainly because Bowie is my god and he is simply gorgeous in this film. How I wish (and wished when I was too young to know just how wrong that wish would later become ( Read more... )

Eeeh. It's obscure for a lot of people who were born slightly too late to enjoy it at the time, I suppose.

Mostly I was just chuffed that I found my copy today :)

One of my all-time favorites ... for a long I thought it was the only thing David Bowie ever did. Then, of course, I discovered Ziggy Stardust and fell even more in love. :)

What about the movie Cat People? David Bowie has done many movies, including one about POW's in Japan that was just BRILLIANT because he played such a 'straight' role. Merry Christmas Mr Laurence is it's name http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0085933/ <-- Major Bowie fan here.
