80s TV flashback: Starman

*waves* I'm another LJ spotlight n00b.

This is so the place to remind people of/introduce people to one of my favorite TV shows, Starman. It aired waaaaay back in 1986. The show's dated and kind of sappy now, but it captured my imagination. *shrugs* Anyone else remember it?

I do remember Starman! It was very brief, but one of my favorite shows at the time. I had no idea that there were sites dedicated to it, but I'm glad there are...I can get my geek fix. LOL.

Jake 2.0 I'm familiar with, but the others not so much. Yay for new shows to discover!

The series was SO much better than the movie, I think.

I don't know if I'd agree with that. I liked both. They each had their strengths, IMO.

I used to watch Starman. It didn't last very long, too bad - it was a good show.
