Anyone remember the computer games pickle wars and chip's challange. I used to have PWs on CD but I lost it. I have been trying to find it at home or online (I might have to buy it again), because it was the most fun game ever, but I haven't had much luck yet ( Read more... )

Hiya, you could use andkon.com, which has games like Pacman. On the subject of obscure tv programmes, have you ever heard of "3rd rock from the sun"? Brilliant!

That's awesome that someone else remembers pickle wars. It may have been considered a B/ cheap comp. game, but it was more fun than some of the other name games I paid a lot more for.

I loved Chip's Challenge...I was kind of obsessed with it! I would get sooo frustrated because once you died that was it and you had to go back to the beginning. :P It was a good brain workout!

The game came with Windows 3.1 I think...

Yah, I'd get to level 9 or 10 and get stuck or die and have to start all over and I hated that. Sometimes I would enter the cheat and go straight to level 9-10, so I wouldn't have to waste my time doing the first 9 or so all over again.

Did you ever see the rest of the levels? I think there were about 149 of them. :O I didn't finish all of them, but one day when I was playing I noticed a new option in the menu: "ignore passwords." It was really weird. But it let me skip to any level I wanted! :)

Did you manage to download the game?

no I haven't downloaded the game yet. And once I was able to skip to any level, but it only gave me the option to go as far as 20 or so I think.
