Your newest fandom?
Well yesterday I fell in love with songs from Evil Dead The Musical. I think that counts as I now really want to see it.

I've been meaning to check out Maid Marian and Her Merry Men because of Tony Robinson, but unfortunately it's not easy to find! The gender elements make it sound like something I'd enjoy, though.

I'm in the US, but I'm saving up for a multiregion player, so I'll keep that in mind! :) (I tend to be hesitant about buying DVDs of shows I haven't seen, but occasionally I take a chance.)

okay, there's a few clips of songs, and one episode, from series 3, on youtube. The episode is a funny one, but the later episodes are slightly different to the earlier ones, because they're less close to the traditional stories. But it's still a fantastic episode.

I saw Evil Dead The Musical in January and it was hilarious. They splattered blood on the first three rows of the audience.

Maid Marion and her Merry Men was awesome. I watched it as a kid and it had passed right out of my head til I joined the musical theatre group at uni. The choreographer was called Marion and on our weekend away, while very drunk, I started singing "Oh Marion, dum dum dum, why don't you carry on with what you're doing..." I had no idea where the song was from but by the end of the weekend I'd remembered the whole song and everyone else was singing it too, none of us knowing where it was from.

And then we got home and found it on YouTube. Yay!
