Showbands II

So, I really want to write fanfictions for Showbands. Which I've talked about before here, but at that stage I'd only seen Showbands I. It has some really great potential for fic, gen, het, and slash. (which would be canon in this I think)

Showbands II is about Denise (the young singer) trying to win A Song for Ireland, and having problems with

Well, they pretty much made it blatant that Frank was gay at the end of the first Showbands by having that scene where he was watching Ricky perform and then that other guy came up next to him and they shared a look. Or maybe I'm just reading too much into it, but my sister seemed to think so as well, and she's not one to look actively for slashiness.

No, that's what I thought too, that Frank was checking that guy out. For sure. I still think he'd be a *bit* freaked out about acting on it though... maybe?

i know nothing about this - don't even know if it's a film or a tv show or? but I love your rundown of it, the enthusiasm and the slash goggles ( which sound spot on by the way!) love the idea of him not going on to dfame and fortune 'cos his manager doesn't like flying! all the soft, unspoken things! Sounds cute!

It's a film, there's two of them that follow on from each other, but the first one makes sense by itself, the second one is a sequel that takes place about 6 months after the first one, but was made the year after
