I was just watching this the other day so I was wondering if anyone ever heard of it: the animated version of The King and I. It's Warner Brothers and includes most of the songs from the musical. I took a picture of the cover if that'll help anyone recognize it.

Ditto with that. I loved the original, I wasn't sure if I would enjoy seeing it animated so I stayed away from it...

Other than the animation, what are the differences between it and the live action version?

I wouldn't know. I've never seen the musical performed, or seen a live-action version of it. This is literally the only version I know.

But I don't think anything but the cartoon movie would add crazy animal sidekicks.

Yes. Anna and her son have a little monkey and the king has a panther.

i remember watching this when i was younger. i don't remember the whole movie though. but i know i like it.
