Lately, I have been spending a lot of time on this "other" site. It's a dating site (I'll admit it...) that I have been a part of for several months now, but only recently have I paid to be a member. On the other hand, I'm not out either. I live close enough to Philadelphia to easily get there, but far enough away that I have to have a legitimate excuse to go. I can't just up and tell my family I'm heading to Philly for the day.

Well, there are several dating sites that you can join for free and they only charge you if you want to contact members.. But, if a member contacts you first then it doesn't cost you anything. However, do you have to tell your parents that you're going to Philly? You can't just say that you are going to be out and about for the day? I hope things work out for you... I think we're at similar points in our lives as far as accepting ourselves for what we are. Maybe we can help each other out!

Anyways, to actually reply to your comment: I have thought about joining the free sites. I probably will end up doing it. And it is pretty hard to get out of my house. My mother's freakishly curious when it comes to what I'm doing. I can occasionally get into Philadelphia, but I can't go too often.
