Lately, I have been spending a lot of time on this "other" site.  It's a dating site (I'll admit it...) that I have been a part  of for several months now, but only recently have I paid to be a member.  The difference between paying or not is the usefulness, and the availability in contacting others.  I know that being  a part of a site like that

It's not easy to meet other girls. In a dating sense. I mean you can't just look at another female and now if she is straight or not. I am and always afraid to ask if I saw a cute girl. I've met some straight females that would get real pissed if another female hit on them. As for the dating sites, they can be a little difficult too unless you want a couple to mess around with. I always received a ton of 3some requests.:(

That's nice that you've found some people you're talking to. I've been debating whether or not to join a dating site. I'm dirt poor though. Putting $90+ of gas per week is killing me. And it's only going to get worse.

On the other hand, I'm not out either. I live close enough to Philadelphia to easily get there, but far enough away that I have to have a legitimate excuse to go. I can't just up and tell my family I'm heading to Philly for the day.

Well, there are several dating sites that you can join for free and they only charge you if you want to contact members.. But, if a member contacts you first then it doesn't cost you anything. However, do you have to tell your parents that you're going to Philly? You can't just say that you are going to be out and about for the day? I hope things work out for you... I think we're at similar points in our lives as far as accepting ourselves for what we are. Maybe we can help each other out!

Anyways, to actually reply to your comment: I have thought about joining the free sites. I probably will end up doing it. And it is pretty hard to get out of my house. My mother's freakishly curious when it comes to what I'm doing. I can occasionally get into Philadelphia, but I can't go too often.
