HOOOOOORAY! Alright, here are some of those websites I was talking about:
www.fitday.com -- this is the best place I have found to get your calorie balance. www.mypyramidtracker.gov is a second-best -- they're basically the same, but FitDay has a couple more (stupid) options and some more foods listed. They're both free for membership and it really just helps you estimate how much you've eaten in a day and how many calories your exercise is burning. Obviously I don't really recommend anyone get too anal about calorie-counting (I drink beer, aka empty calories), but it was a really big help for me when I started my own regimen to all of a sudden REALIZE how many calories I was eating in a day
