flash fiction: election [nanoljers]

I'm really getting on board with this writing prompt, and since election is so relevant with what's going on at the moment (go Obama!) and the constant presence of slightly melancholy thoughts in my head, I wrote this.

The prompt is for nanoljers here. This is my first word of the week challenge. Word count is a little over 500.

I liked it a lot. I liked the voice in it. And I like the irony of it(cause I'm a. thinking about your family and b. what one of them looks like).

Thats about all I have to say.

Interesting. I don't think you need the "(Four years.)" at the end because the sentence before that provides a good punch. Still good though :)
