[It's as black as, well, the inside of Jim's pocket. There's rustling noises; he's walking somewhere. Apparently, you can butt-dial PCDs. Jim never knew.

He pulls the PCD out of his pocket, and there's a blur of street before it focuses on his face. ]

How long has this thing been on?

A roof would be nice. I'll give the place a look, thanks. [Jim is iffy on windows in general, sometimes. He's pretty glad nobody's actually offered to go with him yet; that could turn awkward. He's a little picky.]

My cousin and I found a small but usable house in the northern part of the city, not far from the river. If you are willing to work hard, there are buildings that can be made safe and relatively comfortable.
