Only I was thinking something like "OMG OUR GIRLY FRIEND WHO IS SUPPOSEDLY REALLY STRONG BUT REALLY COULDN"T PUNCH HER WAY OUT OF HALF A PAPER CUBICLE HAS BEEN CAPTURED, WE NEED TO GO BEAT UP THE BAD GUYS WHO WILL PROBABLY BE GOOD GUYS AGAIN IN 25 CHAPS, WITH WEAPONRY THAT COMES OUT OF MAGICAL WEAPONS WHO'S NAMES WE MUCT CALL VERY LOUDLY AND WILL MAKE US INSANELY STRONG BUT SOME OF US WILL LOSE ANYWAY" was a bleach rip off.

I was genuinely shocked that Ryohei didn't scream "BAN KAI" when he got his ass kicked by Koyo (But with the weird way his bangle is glowing, you never know)

You could make the argument that the reason Lambo is a guardian is BECAUSE all he does is fire off random bursts of energy. It's the lightning Guardians job to do 2 things (begin paraphrasing):

1: Get the crap beat out of themselves (Bossu has pointed out that this happens quite often)

2: Randomly be worth a damn.

And anyway, in Lambo's inevitable fight with Rauji, he's probably going to do what he has done EVERY OTHER BATTLE (with the excpetion of his fight with Kikyou for obvious reasons) and shoot himself with the 10 Year Bazooka. TYL!Lambo will muster the resolve to upgrade the ring before going back to his own time, and TYE!Lambo will mooch off of his future self's strength and use the new uber-lighting gear.
