We are obsessed, as a culture, with moving on. We want to move on from whatever bad thing happens in our lives and try frantically to move on to the next thing in the hopes that the newness will erase the pain from our past. Oh, girl. I hear you loud and clear. We're pretty much on the same boat and I'm not liking hearing from you that this period can last for quite some time. I hope for my sake and for yours that it won't take me 22 months and for you another year to get over this. We've both been betrayed and it's really the worst thing in the world: to have the person you love the most betray your trust, your love, your everything. And it's even more of a trial when you see how happy the other person is, that they've moved on with no problems whatsoever ( ... )

Yeah, I know it won't be like this forever. I guess I've just been feeling sorry for myself for the past month. I cut back on checking my FB, but I don't want to delete it because I do use it to keep in touch with people.

The meet-up sounds like a fun idea. And, of course I'm always down for anything HP. :) I will see how the situation is at work and get back to you. I know the 19th is Friday, but I think it would be easier for me to do Sat the 20th. Do you think you can wait a whole day to watch the movie? :p

Can't you just get another account? Does FB allow that? I stopped using my FB account after that whole debacle but then I don't really use it so it wasn't that hard for me.

LOL, yes, of course, Saturday is fine. I prefer it actually. Let me know if you'll be free or not. :)
