Slightly odd request, this, but I've been asked to try and find out what 'Don't f*ck with the Greigs' would be in Latin. And also to design a coat of arms to go with it. Can anyone help me with that?
Would "Nemo Greigs impune lacessit" do? Lit: No-one provokes the Greigs with impunity. Better translated as "No-one attacks the Greigs and gets away with it".
(I may have the verb ending wrong - my schoolboy Latin is very rusty, and I'm not sure if it needs to be plural or not - I'm just adapting the royal motto of Scotland...)

Do you want real latin, that'll take a bit longer? Or cod latin-looks like latin but isn't really, much like the mottos you get in Pratchett books.
Futue te (et caballum tuum) is "fuck you (and your horse)" if you want to be getting on while I think/consult.

On an unrelated note, are you still planning on moving back to Edinburgh?

As to Reekie- currently running at an 85% "yes" at the moment- if it goes to 100% then it'll be mid-october.

Tis the best I and mates can come up with. Literally- "Don't give fuck to the Greigs".
You may now rain sweatmeats and tributes upon me in thanks ;-)
