I hear you about the half-filled bottles. I usually flip them upside down and let gravity do its work on pulling the contents to the opening, so as not to let any of it go to waste. If you neighbor's daughter can use the extras, that is good. Bring out the box cutters! Yippee!
Race weekends, what fun. Michigan Speedway is a half hour drive way, but we get traffic going to and from there. One road that intersects near mine resembles more of a busy highway during the few times that Michigan Speedway has their races. I've gotten used to taking alternate routes to avoid it during those weekends, because making left turns is too risky, and I've had my fair share of auto accidents to last me a lifetime.
