I remember Hospice telling us about the 5 day respite. We used it for my uncle when my mom had to go in the hospital. We had both of them in the same hospital! Please get some rest for yourself.

I will seriously consider respite care..Hospice comes tomorrow at 1pm to evaluate angelmomma..I really feel, I owe it to both of us for me to take some one on one time..you know? It won't make me bad?, and I hope they would take as good as care of her, as me...sigh.

Oh damn, all those fruit butters! (I got hungry typing this and had to pop in a microwave dinner) You know, I had no idea there was such a thing as apple butter until our family moved to TN. Imagine living 18 years and having never tried apple butter... I got a packet of apple butter from an MRE that the fire dept handed out after the storm last year but it didn't quite taste the same.

Fresh lemons! YUM. Yeah, I think it might be an exercise in futility to grow lemons in East TN. And I can't believe you had never experienced apple butter until you came to TN! And I'm pretty sure MRE apple butter was NOT cooked in an iron kettle over a fire, which is the ONLY way to do it.
The herb garden sounds terrific. I'd grow one, but I'm the killer of all things grean and leafy.
