I went to the dr. last week to see if something can be done about my satanic sinuses and also to see if my suspicions about high blood pressure might be true.  After talking to me and assessing my stress level (if I were a Homeland Security Chart, I'd be glowing red), she thought my tension headaches were due to stress, and that my blood pressure, ( Read more... )

Singular kicks ass. I'll be going back on it in a matter of weeks, it's all that gets me through the worst of Spring and Summer. I'm supposed to take it year round for my pet and asthma allergies, but it's expensive =P

It is expensive, but when I weigh it against the cost of another sinus surgery, it's relatively cheap! I do wish there was a generic, though, then I could get it at Walmart for $4!

Cymbalta dose witchywoman_lv April 4 2009, 05:29:48 UTC
So how many mlgrms are you taking of Cymbalta now..? Just curious, as I am on this one also..

Do you feel the sinuses has anything to do with your fms?

Alot of us have been a bit down in the weather, with the rain..,and we all have fms.

I'm glad you got some relief..Any bit helps the flares..

When are you going to the female doc? just curious..I wonder if you are starting the change? How old are you? Alot of women start in their early 40's..Just some-thing to think about..hehe

I went thru the change at 24..not by choice though..

Rain, rain, and more..april showers..bring may flowers..

I'm on 120 mgs a day now (2 60 mgs capsules twice a day). Seems to be helping a bit with the stress. I no longer feel the need to kill someone. :D

I think the sinus and FMS are separate, although the FMS tends to make everything worse, as you know. I'm so glad I don't need surgery. That procedure was brutal.

My regular doc found that my progesteren levels are low through blood work. She can give me a dose to take 10 days before my period and thinks it will help. She doesn't think I'm going through the change yet, but she can see symptoms of pre-menopause. I'm really hoping the progesteren cream helps!!

It's rainly and cold here, and we may have snow Monday and Tuesday! EEEK!

awwwwwwwwww, I am learning more, and more..

I do hope, the increase in Cymbalta helps that..

Glad to know, you did talk to your doc about the bleeding..

I say pre-menopause..

Let me know, how you do with the cream..please.

We awoke to snow, after rain all day yesterday, and snow a few days before..

Interesting weather...the lion came in with a roar.!

Have you tried that sinus rinse stuff or a neti-pot? I've been meaning to do it regularly, and according to the CE I just did, it seems to be fairly effective at reducing sinus symptoms, as long as it's not completely blocked.

I'm planning on getting a neti-pot. One of my friends is a nurse, and his wife swears by it.
