*Taimethis's cabin is empty as the portal to the nexus crackles to life. His two most recent log entries are displayed in his desk next to the crystal lamp Sidney had gotten him for Christmas. His staff is laying on the bed against the far wall, and the chairs around the table look like they've all been used recently. The view through the bay

Ali steps through the portal, wearing a gold dress she hopes is suitable, carrying his Christmas present and an azalea bonsai. She sets both gifts on the table, takes a moment to peek out a window, then starts looking for her host. "Taimethis? It's Alison..."

"Details can be delightful things." She watches, smiling. "And can I say, Red has very good taste in men?"

*Taimethis grins* I suppose you could.

*He walks to the closet and pulls out a wide sleeved brass colored shirt and a simple red doublet. He tosses the doublet on the bed and pulls the shirt over his head.*

"I think I just did. So that's covered. And so, unfortunately, are you."

[he_that_seeth]

It's bad form to walk around the ship without a shirt. The observation deck and my cabin are different though.

"I'd imagine it wouldn't be very comfortable being forever unable to remove one's shirt, even in private."

[he_that_seeth]

Exactly. *He picks up the doublet and puts it on, buttoning from the bottom up.*

Anything particular you want to eat?

"Being entirely unfamiliar with local cuisine...um...I have no real idea. What do you recommend?"

[he_that_seeth]

Isian food's not all that different from human food. It usually has a bit more bite to it, but that's about it. If you want, I can just have something brought here.

"Whatever you think is best. I have no idea what's going on, remember?" She smirks.

[he_that_seeth]

*He grins and begins to unbutton the doublet* I'n that case I think I'll put that vest back on and have some Olaril qurig Duag brought here, unless you don't like fish?

[vicioussweetie]

"Oh, I love fish. You know, you don't have to think up excuses to undress, you can just admit that you want me. I won't be upset."

[he_that_seeth]

*Taimethis laughs* I admit to nothing. Besides, what would the kitchen staff think if they came in here and you were naked?

[vicioussweetie]

"That you're a lucky, lucky man of course." She grins. "And I'm not the one getting undressed, am I?"

[he_that_seeth]

That's beside the point* Taimethis slides the vest back on, crosses to his bed and sits with his back against the bulkhead. He pats the spot next to him invitingly.*

"Is it?" She moves to sit beside him.
