Guh! Brutal ending, but definitely a perfect setup for canon. The Malfoys were portrayed very well (smarmy Lucius and devoted Narcissa), and heartwrenchingly spot on was Draco's reaction at the end. All for family.

I totally see Ginny as being seriously pissed at Harry for helping the Malfoys in any way, and being unwavering in her support of her family.

Justice indeed.

I loved it. Well written, IC, and pleasureable. Endings like these are going to be the death of me, but enjoyed this. Ginny broke my heart. Her character was very real and her behavior was...heartbreaking, IMO. I can understand that she'd want them to be punished, even if I don't agree completely and it was just...very real. *sigh* Thanks for this. It was a great read.

It feels like it could really be this way, like this could fit into the books-- Harry and Ron sharing a moment over not understanding women especially felt perfectly, perfectly canon. It feels so canon, and that makes me so sad. Brilliant job, Mystery Author.

So far this one is my favorite! You're very skilled at going from angst to humor and back again, while making the transitions very fluid and fitting with the plot.

He placed it with the other proposals, marriage or otherwise. Embarrassingly, it was the second largest pile so far. People were strange.

Ha!

"Oh, the ... irony?" said Ron, casting a sideways glance at Hermione. She shook her head. "All right," he said. "Where's the bloody dictionary?"

So in character! Heeeheeheeeheeee!

"How would you feel about running the Auror Department?"

Harry reeled for a moment. "I ... um. Badly."

Exactly! SO HARRY! I want to quote everything!

I wasn't quite expecting that ending, but it fit. Perfectly canon. I would love to read a happier sequel if you're ever inclined. A gloriously long one all about the reformation of the Ministry and what happens to the Malfoys and everything. I can't wait to know who you are!
