Fascinating, how in all entries for this prompt, it's actually Harry and Draco getting drunk as house-elves :-). Yours is the only story that actually features drunken house-elves. That was quite an ingenious plot device, to connect the inevitable H/D love-plot to Hermione's canon crusade to free the house-elves. I found myself very much intrigued with Draco's relationship to his parents. Apparently, he stopped all contact, not even letting Narcissa into his flat. Intriguing - I'd love to see more of this scenario, especially now, that Harry and Draco are lovers. Lucius, I am quite sure, will not be enthused ;-). Thanks for writing!

This was really clever. I think the whole role of house elf is an interesting one- they are slaves and yet seem to enjoy that position (well, most of them), but how would they react if Hermione got her way and got her brand of justice for all? Well, I think this was a brilliant idea- obviously there would be chaos and upset elves and... well, I think you had a very plausible (and very comic) scenario. If people use alcohol to fill some sort of void, why wouldn't elves try the same ( ... )

That summary made me immediately want to read this. I love this use of prompt! HEEE! MADE OF WIN!

And even better to get Draco and Harry to fall for each other! You made them so in character but still enough to that they had chemistry. From Draco's snarkiness to Harry's temper...this just worked.

And drunken house elves...I can totally imagine that. What else can they do if they can't serve their Masters?
