I love the atmospheric mood in the fic, the way fanon is intertwined with canon so smoothly. I especially like the horcrux hunt! I admit I am sucker for a good quest and this certainly did not disappoint. The end was beautiful, you can almost taste Draco's desperation and Harry's fear. *sigh* And the happy ending was a lovely treat.

GO TEAM!!!

This is a masterful work. I love the absolute anguish of Draco's inability to even speak his mother's name. I'm amazed (and impressed) that you so skillfully captured both the sense of weariness and despair with the war - and the slow subtle development of the H/D relationship in so few words. The plot could have easily filled several captivating chapters in a novel length fic. Yet reading it, I didn't feel that the story was rushed or that any important factors/ events were skipped or glossed over.
Your characterizations were wonderfully done. I loved Ron even when I wanted to smack him in the head. He was extremely true to character. Even Hermione's gentleness towards Malfoy was characteristic to me.
I loved your version of Horcrux!Harry and Snape and Draco's part in Harry's success. And even though I loved the ending, I loved the characters so much that I just want to keep reading and see what happens next. Well done!

A wonderful fanon war story. We all wanted Draco to play a larger role in taking down Voldemort and you supplied us with a great plot that made it so. The kiss was the perfect way to have Draco do it. I was on the edge of my seat during that whole scene. Excellent!

And thank you, love. Getting "Best Heart STopping Kiss" was the highlight of this entire experience!

You rascal. You have know idea how long I attempted to figure yours out. And now that I can put two and two together, it's obvious. *sigh*.

Oh and damn that kiss was amazing. I loved being able to use the pun.

What I especially love is that you did the war story for fic and then rentboy!Draco for art. You're truly gifted.

I have such a soft spot for post-hbp fics - especially when Snape and Draco play a strong role. And this one delivered in spades!!!

I love the way you twisted the book canon to play out so differently. A long standing stale mate is very believable. I love war-hardened!Harry, his maturity and his confidence.

I love the exciting search for the items, and the twist of the 'last horcrux.' Great parallels to canon. Great use of the direct quote from Dumbledore. The ending was powerful and passionate and just as it should be.
