I really enjoyed this. Your writing has a hypnotic quality that pulled me in, wanting resolution for Draco and Harry and Snape. I particularly loved Harry's obsession with Draco's bare feet, the way Draco stayed true to himself even in a servile role, and Ginny's passive-aggressive codes that Harry understands all too well. Very nice. :)

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this. I adored the various reference of both Harry and Draco's ankles, the promises, the fact that even though they ended up with other people at the end, Harry will never forget Draco.

Your writing lingers and makes me think. I'm losing sleep again tonight, but it's all worth it. Thank you very much for giving us such a beautiful story.

This was a very interesting take on the Hermit card. I really enjoyed the story you wove and how you kept Harry and Draco true to themselves. And Harry being forced to marry Ginny is in keeping with my belief that that is the only way Harry would not be with Draco!

Excellent job, Team Epilogue!

Quite nicely done, Team Epilogue! Harry's obsession with Dumbledore was intense and dizzying--you worked the repetition so well (I almost wondered when he was going to whip out the WWDD wristbands) and changed it so slowly to an obsession with Draco I could hardly tell until they were touching and it was too late. I really liked S.A.L.V.A.G.E. and Hermione correcting Harry over "SPEW." :D It meshed perfectly with canon too, at the end--very believeable. And you have a flair for certain turns of phrases that captured a full feeling in just a few short words...here are some of my favorites:

The world outside was bright and full of grief

I love the imagery of brightness--like with tears, or the shininess of new skin.

When Ginny moved into Grimmauld Place, she began to speak in a code. Harry was hard-pressed to understand her. He caught oblique meanings from her words, like sunlight reflected from water to window to sky.The reflection--and the distortion of it--is brilliant here ( ... )
