I totally loved this fic! I remember at the time wishing I'd had the energy to leave a better comment, but it was the day after hubby was diagnosed and we'd just gotten back from his second steriod treatment at the hospital. I was completely pooped!

Anyway, I thought it was fantastic! When I read it again, I promise to leave a comment with more than 3 words!

this is just a perfect story. hot and sweet and awww-inducing. i get all melty when the boys get protective over each other, and i liked how they both got to step up and go to bat for one another at different points. i think the development of their relationship was paced very well, and the writing was so clean. nothing extraneous, just adept and smooth-moving. this made me very happy, and i just want to hug you and the boys! *squishes you all*

Thank you for this! I really wanted to show the balance - that they were both strong in some ways and vulnerable in others, but ultimately they were equals. I'm really pleased that you picked up on that! YAY! *hugs*

I usually stay away from bond/soul mate fics, but this one was so sweetly and tenderly done that it didn't seem like a narrative device, the way it usually does; instead, it felt organic and integral to the story.

Thank you!

*g* Thank you so much. Funny enough, the idea of the soul bond came after the initial idea of the story. Before even choosing our prompts, I had read one of the cards that had something about psychic powers and the idea of the wand giving Draco the power to see into Harry's life was born. It wasn't until I got my prompt that I had to ask what could possibly cause this to happen - and wham, soul mates just seemed too perfectly fanon to ignore. :-)
