Awesome, I loved it. And Umbridge, argh, what a nasty woman! What she said about old and tried traditions worried me, though; it made me thing that there could be neo death eaters out there, ready to start a new war.
Very nice developments here. And new information. I appreciate the length of these chapters. I keep thinking "This will never come together before the bottom of the page!", only to realize there is a part two (or more!). I will have to go back to read about Helena's parents again because I don't get Draco's comment at the end, but that's okay. Nicely featured coffees on US National Coffee Day, I'm sure you planned it that way. ;-) I really wanted art of Umbridge in that well-described scene, or Harry peering into the darkness in the pub. It was great in the pub how he realized he had been deluding himself that it was someone other than Draco. And how Harry noticed the difference in his reactions when it was Draco rather than Hermione and Ron. He's moving forward. It was significant that Enid went from icing Draco out to thanking him. I think the cold-case resolutions will add up to significant good will in the community--wait until Neville hears about Sarah! Draco's efforts at atonement are not a surprise to me but they are to Harry.
