Oh. My. WOW. This fic, just.. Wow. I loved the imagery, so VIVID it was - the heart breaking and mending. Luna. Draco. Severus drinking his sorrows and just... All of it, absolutely Lovely. There are so many things I can point out and gasp at, but I don't think I can be coherent enough to do so.

Thank you so much, Ravenpan! This story is constructed through a series of running images in my mind and I'm glad you enjoy what I see :).

WHY IS THIS ALL?????
OH dear, this was just beautiful. There was more magic in this than in the true harry potter story, because the story was a prophesy was a fiary tale. And Ginny was perfect. and Luna was perfect. and foreshadowing!!! Ginny gave him the snitch! that should count for something...
But Myrtle! Finally free...
and Snape! still so... sad.
and Goyle! even his appearance was.. comforting.

I loved this!

Oh, what a fantastic review! *blushes* Thank you so much for your kind words. I'm glad the characterizations worked for you! It's my first time tackling these characters for a long fic and I hope got their voice correct. :))) This is definitely written with a fairy tale in mind, and the snitch definitely means something *nods*

So, I just got The Tales of Beedle the Bard, and the first story I read was, of course, the Warlock's Hairy Heart.
I must say that I am *very* glad that you made the haunting story so lovely. The reason of the story was still touched, but with this softer, more hopeful stance, the story has a real power.
I will never forget this story.

Oh, my. This was exactly what I was looking for when I checked on the site again for new stories. (in a fit of wishful thinking)... I cried at the end.

Thank you so much for coming in to check out the entries! I am super late in delivering the fic.
I really appreciate it that you spend the time to read it, even if it makes you cry *hands you tissue*

Wow. That was quite a tale. I find myself wanting more (and that's a good thing). Just perfect from start to finish... "the prison crumpled beneath his feet, and his new world, his new life spread before him like water into the heavens." That was an epic ending.
Snape was perfect since we know more about him than we did when HBP was released. Ginny giving Draco the Snitch with a 'you caught it, it's yours' attitude. Neville was heroic. Luna was... Luna.
I'm really really impressed with this. To some it might seem not 'enough' Draco/Harry, but you did warn us, and it wouldn't have worked any other way. Besides, we already know the other side of the story.
Excellent writing. Well worth the wait.

Oh. Wow. I just cannot put into words exactly what it is that this fic it. It is wonderful. And oh so very powerful and emotional. You can just about feel everything that Draco is feeling and they are just so intense. It was an intense ride reading this story. I had to take it in doses for it felt like it was engulfing me too much to read it all in one sitting. I felt like I was drowning in it. But there were certain details and scenes that allowed me to come up for breath. One that comes to mind that the one in which Ginny and Draco have a Seekers game and the conversation that follows. I loved the fact that Ginny gave Draco the Snitch because she felt that he was meant to have it.

Oh and the end. And how you wove it all together perfectly with the book. I love how it feels that Draco will go after what he wants as soon as Harry wins. And he somehow feels that Harry will win. It was just so powerful

And look, I found some words to tell you how much I loved reading this.

You have definitely found words and they are so wonderful to hear! Thank you so much for reading this and telling me what you think! This fic is written as a look into Draco, into the time when he was facing his greatest challenge - there must have been many sleepless nights between the incident on the Astronomy Tower and when he saw Harry again in canon; I would imagine his emotions were intense, and he did feel like drowning - water and reflection are recurrent themes of the story. Water can drown but is fluid and can morph into any shape easily, while reflection also describes deep thinking about self.

The Ginny and Draco part was surprisingly the easiest scene to write; I had a lot of fun putting Ginny on paper :)
