I enjoyed their time travel back to the beginning of the school. It was really interesting that the founders were calling for them and going through the Floo in a time-altered house was really clever.

An epic story in a abbreviated format. Exciting & powerful! I like that Harry and Draco's own brand of love magic protected the school. I'm a little confused by the end, though - did Dumbledore know what was going on? How did Snape & the rest know to find H & D in the castle after last seeing them at #12 G.Place?

ah- i wondered if people would question that bit. actually, it was because of what harry and draco said to severus, who had to go back to hogwarts to ask albus something. what he wanted to verify was that gryffindor's sword and slytherin's locket were originally found embedded in a platform near the foundation of the castle, and that they were tied in with the castle's wards. at some point later in history, someone retrieved the sword and the locket that was wrapped around it, which allowed for holes to appear in the castle's defenses (the secret tunnels in and out of the castle). so they knew it was likely for the boys to reappear somewhere around there, if their dreams were accurate and if they were even able to return. when a flare of magic was felt in the basement, so to speak, they knew that it was likely that harry and draco were back and they rushed down to meet them.

phew! that seemed a lot less complicated in my head when i wrote the story. thanks for the comment and i'm glad you enjoyed my short fic :)

Interesting story. I felt like it could have gone on for much longer - perhaps the plot and time constraints hampered the full development of a really interesting plot. But it was enjoyable all the same, thank so much for being part of the fest.

thank you! yes, time constraints were an issue, but i'm glad you enjoyed the story all the same and that i was able to contribute to the fest. perhaps next year i'll pick just one to join! ^_^

hehe- thanks. in my mind, the founders have been built up into these great, monumental figures, and i wanted it to be a bit silly, in contrast :)
