What a great story. My heart ached for Draco as he watched his son be overcome over the years, and then Harry ... poor Harry, having the horcrux in him again. *squishes*

Love that Harry kissed him & that it was the first coherent thought Draco had after waking. :)

:D Thank you so much! I knew as soon as I saw this prompt that I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I didn't write it. I'm so glad you enjoyed my take on it!

This story made me feel real fear. Especially for, and of, Scorpius. The trip to the Dementors was dramatic. I loved Harry's subtle flirting going over Malfoy's head. Harry's kiss was well earned. Loved it!

Wonderfully spare and gripping work. Draco's portrayal was very convincing - I love his snarky self, and I enjoyed reading Harry fully grown up and matured. And you can definitely tell a chilling tale. The scenes of Scorpius with his owl, and the Horcrux transfer were utterly creepy, it has definitely send some sort of shiver down my spine.

Thank you so much! I have been attempting (without MUCH success) to lower my word count on fest fics without sacrificing story. I'm so happy that I was able to convey the horror of Scorpius' position to you and that you enjoyed this!
