I really enjoyed this. Anything with snarky!Snape is a bonus, of course.

I liked the dynamic, and found it easier to accept them getting along when no one else was there. I thought that was a great idea to have them at Hogwarts, getting to know each other and forming friendships, before they had to deal with the outside world.

Their slowly developing friendship and feelings for each other were expressed well with both their inner musings shown. And when Draco hauled off and hit Ron to protect Harry? Much ♥ for him in this.

I had so much fun reading this - it was like some of the old classic Hogwarts fics. I do love a bit of Ron bashing, too occasionally. heh. Hermione was terrific as was Ginny. Classic scene when Harry saw Draco naked in the bathroom, too. "You came." Hahahahaha loved it.

Thanks for reviewing. I'm glad you liked the story. I was a bit worried about how far to take the Ron bashing, but I honestly don't think it would be that ooc for him. And it was nice to not have Ginny as a bitch for once.

I really enjoyed taking part in my first fest - though I will definitely be more organised next time!

So many great things about this, Harry catching Draco in the shower, Ginny actually being cool about it even if Ron was horrid. The idea that they knew each other better than anyone else, Snape!, the angsty break-up. All fabulous!

when you get a chance to edit, there is a line a discreet couch interrupted them While it is quite possible that it was a couch (this is Hogwarts, after all), the context led me to believe it should have been a cough.

First of all, I want to say that this was well written and a very nice fic. I enjoyed the slow process of Draco getting along with Harry and Hermione before he and Harry finally became a couple. However, and I did see the warning, but warnings don't bother me as I still read, I didn't really like the level of Ron bashing/evil!dickhead!Ron in this story.

It's mostly because my four main favorite characters in the books are Harry, Ron, Hermione and Draco. So seeing any of them bashed for the plot of a story or not, makes me sad.

But even with the Ron bashing, this was still a great story and I enjoyed it very much. Good job, author.

Thanks for taking the time to review. I'm glad you liked the story, even with the Ron bashing. I was a little bit leery of doing it, but I don't think it would be that much of a leap from canon for him to react like that. I don't think of him as being evil - more hotheaded, volatile and stubborn.
I'm sure he'll come around when he calms down. Anyway, thanks again. Cassie x
