Author's Notes: I was unable to fulfill all of
your requests as a writer would have done,
furiosity, but I hope you still find this satisfying and to your taste. My primary goal was to stick to canon, which necessitated what became the theme of these drawings: an exploration of infidelity and passing time. And as with any narrative contained within images, I've implied far more than I've depicted. The end result is, I hope, both honest and ambiguous. ♥
It doesn't interest me if the story you are telling me
is true.
(the third year)
(the seventh year)
(the eighth year)
I want to know if you can
disappoint another
to be true to yourself,
if you can bear the accusation of betrayal
and not betray your own soul.
(the eleventh, twelfth, thirteenth... and...)
If you can be faithless
and therefore trustworthy.
(the nineteenth year)
It doesn't interest me who you know
or how you came to be here.
(... and...)
I want to know if you will stand
in the centre of the fire
with me
and not shrink back.
(I want to know what you ache for)
