Oh, that was so lovely :) I adore this Draco, with his hard work and his standards and his stubbornness in the face of everyone turning their backs to him. And Harry is delightfully clueless (and momentarily thoughtless), but the gentleness between the two of them is perfect. And that Draco has won the loyalty of his house-elves -- that's one of the best parts. Thank you so much!

Oh good, I had hoped you would like it. I actually started three different stories for you until finally settling on this one. I do hope you liked it. I am not sure how many of your favorite things I was able to include--sorry I couldn't work in Pansy/Blaise, for example--but I do hope I at least managed to avoid any squicks while writing you a cohesive little Christmas story.

Loved this story - it was wonderful. Draco was noble and Harry was marvelous (until he stumbled) but he recovered nicely. Great story

You've adapted the fairy tale of the shoemaker and the elves to the HP fandom wonderfully. I loved the image of the aged Tilly working the leather with her sore fingers for the naughty little boy that Draco had been and the good man that he tried to become.

While reading I teared up and I laughed ... so I guess it was a pretty good story. :) Thank you for the lovely Xmas present.

That was awesome, Draco as a shoemaker was lovely and Harry was being really adorable about coming in all the time to buy shoes :D
