I enjoyed this a lot; the mystery of the case, the detailed connection of the victims, Rita Skeeter, Draco and his gift, the Aurors, everyone fit in and worked really well. I like all the mythical names scattered around this. [spoileryish]After seeing 'Pollux', I was waiting for 'Castor' and was tickled to see 'Lydia'. I find myself wanting to read some side-stories in this: Seamus/Zach, for instance, after that lunch-date Draco predicted, and oh gosh, I would love to see Ron returning from culinary school, Hermione and Harry greeting him like they were in the wilderness for YEARS. Ron's career and Harry's addiction to fruits of it were particularly satisfying elements; it spoke so much to their friendship. Draco and Castor's meeting was wonderful.

Who says ‘I missed you’ to someone they’ve never met?At that, I adored Castor Malfoy; I'm not usually into familial-OC's like that, but Castor really works so well, because of all the technical and pureblood reasons. The addition of Rita Skeeter's sister was great, too, and the thing about Rita being

Yeah, I sometimes go into so much detail it hurts, don't I? *le sigh* but I'm glad it worked for you. I have little side stories in my head about the minor characters in this fic. I didn't think anyone would be interested in them though, so I'm kinda stoked that they mattered enough for you to want to see them.

Oh Hawkeye. I love you just for hinting a line of my fic reminded you of him. I'm friending you right now.

Lol, I was eating brownies when I was creating his character. Harry's reaction to his cooking was mine when my mother brought them round. Thank you for the wonderful comments, love. It warms the heart.

I really enjoyed this story. You built such an intriguing mystery, and timed the revelation of the details quickly enough to be exciting, and slowly enough to create some wonderful suspense. The reality of Gemini was chilling, but really not all that surprising in the long-standing tradition of Potterverse ministry corruption: that was well done, I thought, but even more clever was the way that your warm characters and sense of humour provided a more light-hearted counterpoint. Thank you for sharing this story with the community!

Yeah, the ministry is known for being used as the regular bad guy, isn't it? It was hard to resist the pull, lol. Thank you for commenting, it's lovely to read the appreciation. I'm so happy!

Very nicely done. I loved the plot with all its twists and turns. I can just see purebloods, with their fanatic insistence of children of their blood, putting something like that together.

Yeah, that's what I thought. It was Pottermore that got me thinking about it. How pureblood families like the Malfoys didn't even care about muggles until coming up to the first war. Then I wondered 'surely they must have something in place because inbreeding is never the answer' and voila. *makes demonstrating motion to fic*
