wow, this is very real. they're very much harry and draco, but also like people one could know in life, experiencing things the way many people do. ron holding back the dog while harry and draco stood awkwardly in the doorway was particularly effective - i can see that so clearly. so well written!

Mm. I like the realism of their emotions and reactions very much. And I agree with geoviki that this was the right spot to end it.

Oh,I liked this. I always like hurt/comfort where the hurt feels real and ouchy enough, and the comfort isn't sappy, so yay for that. I have exactly no idea what I asked for, but this was pretty much what I wanted. :)

And, as geoviki said, ending right there, right when it's about to turn the corner, is lovely. Also, I like that the conversation with Ron took place off-camera,showing us only the outcome and not the actual content. :D

Yay. I love how they just kind of accepted each other into their lives without exactly realizing it. I really liked the whole progress of their relationship and that Harry and Draco were both aware of that. They weren't really sure what was going on but they kind of needed each other...Draco for the life-debt and Harry just to get better. Very nice.

oh, i loved how you navigated the post-war life. so many little details that were compelling. draco felt so in character to me, that kind of quiet desperation but a scrappy, can-do attitude along with his need for control. so much love!
