Oh my :( That was lovely. Pardon the clumsy analogy, but you know how some of the best horror movies or psychological thrillers are only like 75 minutes long, because you can't take one more minute of being torn apart and scared and on the edge of your seat? This was kind of like that. The length was perfect for this specific story and the way you told it.

I'm so sad for Draco; what a terrifying thing, to feel the regret of having given something up by choice and knowing you'll now never be able to get it back.

It's all beautiful, but that last line is really great. "...because without one, there is not the other, and with each other, they are Everything." Very hopeful :)

Thank you for writing and gifting!!

This was so emotional to read. It was beautifully written and very heart wrenching. I feel so bad for Draco. You did an excellant job.

YES I LOVE IT!!! I read it three times already... and I have a flight to catch in 4 hours and have yet to go to bed :P.

Oh, you know, this is the kind of writing I absolutely adore and want to read, and yet I have always had (and will always have, likely) trouble putting it in words when I submit prompts and gift request. Because I honestly don't know how to explain I want this... this work that you've done so perfectly. The length is actually perfect for a piece like this, when everything is something, is nothing... because then no matter how many words are added, nouns and flowery adjectives and proses, they will still and fall short of explaining/defining what this something, this nothing is.

And the power of this is that we all know just what this Something, this Nothing is that pushes Harry and Draco together and pulls them apart-and I love that you trust us to know and understand to never give them names that would have confined and diminished them, almost, and that the fact that we do know and do understand what Draco is ( ... )

I am so, so very glad you approve of it! I was really rather nervous submitting it because it took me forever to start because I was dithering about what to write you, and when this came out I blinked at it and then decided I had my fic and turned it in before I could chicken out. heh.

I'm really very pleased you felt connected to it, though, and thank you so much for your kind words! They made my day, really. :D

Don't ever apologize for the length of this piece because it is more difficult to write concisely. I adore the style of this fic as the sentences seem to have a rhythm to them. It's very poetic. I don't like poetry, but I like this fic.

Thanks for sharing!
