I'm so sad for Draco; what a terrifying thing, to feel the regret of having given something up by choice and knowing you'll now never be able to get it back.
It's all beautiful, but that last line is really great. "...because without one, there is not the other, and with each other, they are Everything." Very hopeful :)
Thank you for writing and gifting!!

Oh, you know, this is the kind of writing I absolutely adore and want to read, and yet I have always had (and will always have, likely) trouble putting it in words when I submit prompts and gift request. Because I honestly don't know how to explain I want this... this work that you've done so perfectly. The length is actually perfect for a piece like this, when everything is something, is nothing... because then no matter how many words are added, nouns and flowery adjectives and proses, they will still and fall short of explaining/defining what this something, this nothing is.
And the power of this is that we all know just what this Something, this Nothing is that pushes Harry and Draco together and pulls them apart-and I love that you trust us to know and understand to never give them names that would have confined and diminished them, almost, and that the fact that we do know and do understand what Draco is ( ... )

I'm really very pleased you felt connected to it, though, and thank you so much for your kind words! They made my day, really. :D
