I read this fic last night but wasn't able to comment right after because it tore open my heart. Hopefully now I'm more coherent :)

Immediately after reading the first sentence, I knew I was hooked. I loved the way the story unraveled--the beginning seemed like the end, and all the following interspersed dates made the story as compelling as a mystery. I also love how spot on your characterization was. Traveling with Harry, Draco, and Hermione on this journey destroyed me in the best way, but the ending was beautiful and wrapped up the story perfectly. Moreover, I simply love the way you write. The sex scenes were intense but tender, Harry's rage was brilliantly emphasized by describing him as "It" when he was a werewolf, and your dialogue and imagery ♥ Absolutely brilliant.

So I'm sure this comment isn't even addressing half of the things I thought were perfectly done, but you did a magnificent job, and I thank you for the great read! :D

And thank you for the lovely comment!

I'm so pleased you liked the ending - I had the worst time trying to figure out how to end this story in the right way. I revised the darn thing about a dozen times. But when I finally wrote this ending, I knew it was the one I'd been searching for. I'm so glad it worked for you.

Wow. My heart hurts after reading that. The difficult journey that Harry and Draco went through made me tear up multiple times. You really showed us the ugly side of what being a werewolf would entail. The realistic struggles of Draco trying to overcome his disgust and prejudice from the wider public were very well handled.

This was a well written and deeply thoughtful story. Thanks for sharing.

You're very welcome! Thanks so much for reading and commenting :)

I wanted to try to make Draco's thoughts & reactions as understandable as possible, which was a huge challenge.

Your writing and story telling was absolutely perfect.

God, I don't know what else to say. I am emotionally drained. lol.

Just remember: it is a happy ending! I envision them as being virtually inseparable after this. Despite all my angsty writing, I'm a sappy romantic at heart :)

This was so intense. A very painful story to read, but very realistic in your portrayal of werewolves and peoples reactions to them. It took me quite a while to get through this story because I had to keep stopping since it made me so very emotional.

But this story was so well written. Great job!

Thank you so much :)

It was hard to write, too. I can't tell you how many times I had to put it aside for a couple of days before I could return to it again. But I'm glad it all came together in the end - both for Harry & Draco and my readers.

Holy shit.

This is the werewolf fic to end all werewolf fics. You, my friend, have won the internet.

This was fucking brutal and at more than one point I was like 'There is no fucking way this is going to work out', then I thought it would, then I thought there was no way...

I couldn't stop reading. Poor Scorpius.

Poor Draco.

Mostly, poor Harry.

What an intense, amazing story. Bravo.

Hi there!

I'm so pleased you liked it. And the compliment of it being the werewolf fic that won the internet is particularly happy-making considering I really don't like werewolf fic (lol). It was a challenge to write. But maybe it was precisely the fact that I don't read creature fic that I was able to write something "new" . . .
