What makes this story incredibly sweet is also what makes it one of the saddest tales I've read. To know what it could be and that it can't... sigh. Very well done.

I don't usually read stories with angst warnings, but I just read this--twice--and am so glad I did. Beautiful and heartbreaking. (And I loved the fish as snitch; it made me smile, but that also had an edge of sadness to see a reality where Draco could be happy for Harry's skill, and in which his warmth and generosity and need to be loved wasn't distorted beyond recognition).

I felt that a Draco removed from the pressures of his life as a pureblood is a really different Draco, and I'm glad I could explore that. Thanks so much for reading and commenting!

Oh, such a lovely bitter sweet story. The ending was unexpected but perfect.

That was outstanding. Bittersweet that they discovered each other - as innocent children - only to be faced with reality when they returned.

So sad that they can't be together, though their hearts long for each other. Oh, that kiss! The desperation of it all.

Much much ♥ for this fic. Brilliant story.
