OMG - this is amazing - the first-person POV, the knowing, weary tone of the narrative, the pace maintained throughout, the timing of when the facts are revealed - everything! This is an extraordinary & captivating piece of writing! Brilliant!

What a strange fusion of delicacy and coarseness. You go easily from chit-chat to world-weary confessions, and back again. Full points for soulfulness.

The narrator is Stan Shunpike, right? ;) I laughed when he caught me red-handed wearing a very prissy face when he'd said 'poop pipe'!
