Scenario/Book: For the love of...There's a hippogriff loose in the Manor. Draco has no idea how it got in, and of course his parents are away and he's still traumatized by his childhood altercation with Buckbeak. Also, Draco being Draco, he can't help but insult it. Repeatedly. He is going to have to find a way to calm it down and Get It Out, though, which means he'll have to go slinking back to Hagrid to borrow a copy of Handbook of Hippogriff Psychology. And isn't it Draco's luck that Harry's visiting Hagrid when he does?
