We're supposed to get a metric shit-ton of snow tonight. The world has two kinds of people: those who love snow, and those who have to drive in it.
Soooo... the arena. The Red Sox went down without so much as a whimper. Could this be the start of another 86 years of futility? Probably not. They wanted to go best-of-7 like in the baseball playoffs, but KtR laughed them right out of the arena.
So to round out Boston Sports Week, I bring you Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots, who have lost only four games total in the last two years. As I've probably said already, the local paper published an article explaining why Belichick was smarter than Einstein. Of course, the article was bullshit. But WHAT IF it wasn't? Think of it! Belichick could use his scientific prowess to totally change the face of the game. How do you win the AFC East next year? Concoct a chemical to turn the Miami Dolphins into actual dolphins!
Of course, Belichick can't do that. But somewhere, in some alternate universe, he CAN. He is Bill Belichick, the evil genius. And he is tonight's boss. He'll be accompanied by a half-dozen Patriots, for backup.
Belichick himself is notorious for exploiting enemy weaknesses, instead of just doing the same things against every opponent. And he's prepared for tonight's match. He has Mass Status HaXX0r (which, of course, you guys hate), and he has Hazard Focus (but not Hazard Rig). He also built a giant robot just like MC's, and installed all sorts of item capabilities in it... so he has all the powers of MC's and Klaw's respective custom classes. And finally, he'll hold three Challenge Flags. If he doesn't like a certain coin flip, dice roll, or whatnot, he can throw a Challenge Flag and force a reroll. He has some other stuff too, but he hasn't said what. SUGGESTED JOB CLASSES: The Pats use a lot of CT-altering and speed-altering stuff, more so than a lot of other bosses. As such, high speed will be a plus. Belichick will be safeguarded, but otherwise, Mass Badstat will be good to try and slow down the players. So will overall hit-all attacks, like summons and Ultima. Also, this isn't a job class suggestion, but I strongly suggest you scan Belichick at some point, because word is he has a gimmick so unconventional and so dangerous, most bosses are afraid to use it. The bosses can statbuff, so you should probably field a blue mage with Status HaXX0r... even if it's just as a deterrent.
NOT RECOMMENDED: Major statbuffers. Belichick knows you like to do that, and he knows Mass Status HaXX0r will cornhole you nine times out of ten. Thief is sort of a mixed bag... you can use generic steal skills and such, but Belichick has Maintenance (as it's a Mad Scientist skill), so you can't take his Challenge Flags.
RAGE WATCH: There's planty here. Belichick has all EWACS Mecha skills and all Mad Scientist skills, plus Hazard Focus. His other stuff is not rage-able. Brady has Screen (ignores Def), Long Bomb (low hitrate, but heavy damage to all and possible burns), Haste 2, and Playfake (lowers targets' CT). Dillon has Speed Run, which is essentially a mass Speed Break, and Cutback, which lowers hitrates (even for magic). Bruschi has his Blitz and his as-of-yet-unnamed move that forces the target to drop items. Light has Cover, and some protective blue magic as well. Brown has just about everything. And the Cheerleader has Mass Distract and Mass Encourage.
Kickoff is at 9. (HA HA I MADE A FUNNY) Also, 5 birthday EXP for Dom.
