Ive been watching Rome since it premired. I have always been facinated by Rome and Greece and when I saw the teaser ads for Rome I was determined to watch it. Thank god for Video on Demand. I forced my guy to watch it now hes addicted to it as well. We cant wait to get the box DVD set.

agustus must now take comand and the agustus they have playing (octavian) is way too young so age him lol
altho i was thinking the other day niobe did yes fall (or push her self) off the top of the stairs but its not really that far of a fall and they never said she was dead
so i am leaveing that one up in the air(cause i like the actress lol)

however the show did give me one thing
that accuseing knowing look form marc antony
i never once thought how he would have reacted to that
yet he must have some how
i also wounder if they will alter some parts of history here seeing as they take small libaritys anyway
that also makes me wounder who they will add and when

I don't know. I was thinking, since it's HBO, and it's Rome, they must just jump ahead like 5 years or something. It's not like they haven't done that before. I doubt that they'll just pick up where they left off. I mean hell, over a year passed in 1 single episode in Season 1.

I guess we'll see in 2 years :\

PS- I'm pretty sure Niobe is dead. If she wanted to kill herself by falling from that balcony, I'm pretty sure she'd make an effort to land on her neck.

hopefully the creators wont go to far in the future because right after the death of caesar [literally that night] the guys who commit the murder run through the streets yelling that they have "killed the tyrant and brought the republic back" and theyre prosecuted for murder and almost all end up either in jail or dead by the end of the following year. Theyre crazy surprised by how happy Rome was with caesar, hence the years after with emperors and not consors.
also, octavian [later named augustus] has to become caesar and marc antony and octavia have to get married, but im not sure if well see the romance of antony and cleopatra until much later.
