So WHY do you keep doing it? If it were me I'd either move to live broadcasting (but I seem to recall this wasn't an option you'd consider?) or quit.

I would say that even though being sick has meant you've had a premium on time lately if little else, your time is no less valuable.

You've provided a great service, playing and supporting artists, keeping sounds alive, sharing your passion for music.

I honestly think you should just drop it, and spend that time working on 15-11 stuff.

This is precisely why so few people can last in community radio 5+ years. I lasted almost 12 but it was across 3 different stations, so at least there was some kind of variation in the shit I had to deal with. But eventually, it gets you down. And to think this is your own time and effort, without recompense....
